You're right, Mr. Bell. Love DOES win. Here's the thing, though; if we don't repent (you know, the "Go and sin NO MORE" part), then we are showing no love toward Jesus the Christ. Jesus is the One who repeatedly said those words. "Go and sin no more."
He also said, "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments." That wasn't an ultimatum. He WASN'T standing there with one hand on His hip, and theother arm extended with an accusing finger pointed toward us. What He WAS saying was a matter of fact. Something like, "If you inhale, you'll exhale." In other words, if we TRULY love Him, our nature will be to love the LORD our God with all our heart, all our mind, all our soul, and all our strength, and to love our neighbor (everyone) as we love ourselves and, YES, that was also a commandment to love one's self. We cannot love anyone, not even our Creator, if we despise ourselves.
SO - REPENT ("Go and SIN NO MORE"), and "Love the LORD your God with ALL your heart, all YOUR MIND, ALL your soul, and ALL your strength." Love every human just as He loves us. Love yourself as He loves you. Love yourself. You are created in His image and likeness.
Love, love, love. Love wins - when we, in turn, truly love Him.
